Full of Glee our Employee of the Month is Lynlea!
Congratulations to our April Employee of the Month, Lynlea! Lynlea has been with the Buzz Franchise Brands family since June of 2020, when she joined as the Marketing Manager for Pool Scouts. Not only did she start during the pandemic, which in and of itself was a challenge she tackled well, but she also jumped right into helping to fulfill our strong 2020 growth goals. She has played a pivotal role in the rapid expansion of the new franchise locations we’ve seen over the past year.
In addition to helping navigate the Pool Scouts brand through COVID-19, Lynlea planned and executed the first ever virtual Pool Scouts convention! She did an excellent job of making sure franchisees felt connected and engaged throughout the course of the convention, with fun social activities and inspiring keynote speakers.
Aside from having great work ethic and planning a killer convention, Lynlea always maintains a positive attitude and has an approachable demeanor that is perfect for supporting our franchisees. Here are a few words about Lynlea from one of her coworkers. "Lynlea has built great relationships with our franchisees, helping them with ongoing coaching and guidance. She has taken on projects willingly and accomplished goals and met deadlines. She has worked very well with our shared resources team, always has a smiling face on, and has a great attitude. She has adapted well to Pool Scouts fast growth and brings energy and positivity to the team. She has also built solid relationships with our partner vendors for marketing and PR support."
Lynlea’s Background
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Lynlea grew up a die-hard LSU fan. After receiving a degree in Business from Elon University, she moved back to Baton Rouge and received her Master’s in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. She has spent her career in marketing and advertising, coming to us after 15 years at a local advertising agency in Norfolk. During her time with the agency, she was an Account Supervisor for a variety of clients that ranged from universities to travel and tourism clients.
Lynlea is a former competitive swimmer and also has experience as a high school swim coach, so it's safe to say she's comfortable around the pool, making her a great candidate to "dive" into the world of franchising. Her stellar client support and project management skills have been such an asset to Pool Scouts, and we know will continue to help grow the brand. Lynlea lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, Brian, and two children Paige and Parker. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends at the beach and around the neighborhood.

Who is your hero? My dad has always been my hero. His joy for life is contagious. He welcomes everyone with open arms and has never met a stranger. He is also one of the most generous people I have ever been around.
What’s your favorite thing to do in the summer? I am all about the beach - biking around on a beach cruiser or sitting at an outdoor restaurant on the water on a beautiful day are my ideal summer activities.
What are some of your pet peeves? I cannot stand cabinet doors or drawers left open.
