Our Employee of the Month is Spook-tacular!

Congratulations to our October employee of the month, Taylor! Taylor joined us in October of 2019 as the Buzz Franchise Brands administrative assistant. This position is one of the most unique and important roles at the company. Whether it’s greeting office visitors, answering the phone or speaking with potential franchisees to coordinate meetings with our franchise development team, this role often serves as the first impression of the company. As this individual interacts with everyone in the office on a regular basis, the position requires the perfect person. Taylor has exceeded expectations, bringing a great energy to the office. Taylor was a natural fit from the beginning, jumping right into the role without hesitation. 

Taylor’s Background

Prior to joining the Buzz Franchise Brands family, Taylor came from a background rich in customer service, which has translated well into being the welcoming face at our front desk. While she's originally from Virginia, Taylor grew up in Brunswick, Georgia. She is a coffee and beer enthusiast (depending on what time of day it is) who loves all things outdoors, including hiking and going to the beach. She is the oldest of three siblings and mother to a seven-year-old daughter.

 Why Taylor Excels at Work

The administrative assistant role is unique, in that the person must be able to communicate well with different personalities on a daily basis, juggle many moving parts across projects, and be extremely organized to keep track of various tasks and meetings. There’s a lot expected that goes beyond what can be taught in training, and Taylor has mastered the role. Not only is she detail oriented and great at getting the job done, but she’s also hilarious, and a joy for her fellow employees to be around. Taylor’s bright and bold personality has been a great addition to the office. Taylor has continued to be a champion at work and keeping things running smoothly during the pandemic. She continues to communicate clearly while staying on top of all tasks. We are especially grateful for all she’s doing for the company during this time.

One of Taylor’s coworkers said, "Taylor comes to work every day with a positive attitude and is ready to take on small or large tasks and remains productive in her role despite the challenge of parenting during the pandemic.  She is a valuable member of the BFB team!"

If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose? The ability to read minds. It would make parenting a whole lot easier.

If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get? I would choose elote or sushi.

Are you a morning or night person? I'm more of like a "middle of the day" person. I always want to sleep in but I'm also ready for bed at 7 PM.

 If I could be anybody besides myself, I would be… Adam Sandler's wife.

It’s no surprise that Taylor won Employee of the Month, and we know that Buzzy (our Employee of the Month mascot) is in good hands. We are thankful to have Taylor to keep Buzz Franchise Brands running as the well-oiled machine that it is.
